This is the first band from Belarus, to be exact from Minsk that I had an honour to review in this zine. Windover is a hardcore quintet playing great melodic punkrock hardcore music, modern style. This is their first ep consisting of five songs. Each of the songs is a story upon itself with fast paced energetic music, riffs and hook laden mid tempo anthems and heartfelt screaming vocals. The opener ” Wasting time” captivated me with fast riffs, excellent melody of the twin guitars and screaming that vocally fits very well on such music. Another highlight is mighty “Stun” that has many rythm changes but remains interesting from the beginning to the very end. The lyrics are in English and they deal with some personal issues. I really enjoyed this ep. You should support the guys, buy their ep, listen to their music and if you are a label owner, think about signing them.
