(record review)EVIL ARMY-“Command, Attack and Destroy”(Vulkan Records)

Vulkan Records keeps up the good job releasing excellent bands, totally the way I like in my musical taste. This time the talk here in this zine is about EVIL ARMY.

vulkcd001

The beginnings of this band go to 2003.in Memphis, TN. The trio consisting of guitarist/vocalist Rob Evil, bassist Bones (R.I.P., Feb. 9, 2009), and drummer Michael Murder, formed the band in which they could play loud, fast thrash crossover. Now, 14 years later, band rides again with new lineup. This cd contains 15 songs of high energetic, dirty thrash core made to tie your shirt around your waist and stage dive to. Some of the material comes from split 7 inch e.p.with Cleancut, Paralyzed and Heroic. Part of the songs come from “I, Commander”, “Conquer Human Life” and “Under Attack” e.p.-s. The rest is previously unreleased rehearsal material. The songs varied from raw to more raw and energetic and this album is by far one of the best albums I have listened to in last couple of weeks. This is bomb!
